A Birthday Poem

— by

In the tapestry of time a thread unfolds,
This birthday poem in gratitude is told.
Dear Father God, with each passing year,
I lift my voice in melody sincere.
For life’s sweet gift, I bow in grace,
A journey marked by your loving embrace.

Yet more, I cherish the love that surrounds,
From friends who echo in life’s vibrant sounds.
Familiar names etched in memory’s smile,
Photo Moments shared, stretching mile by mile.
Expressions of love, a tapestry spun,
In the gallery of my heart, forever hung.

Facebook’s likes, a digital cheer,
Connecting hearts, drawing near.
Text messages, whispers in the breeze,
Blessings wrapped in a digital squeeze.
Distanced souls, in kindness unite,
In these birthday greetings, a shared delight.
